How do I care for my pet?
Tap the feed, play, and shower buttons to keep your pet's hunger, happiness, and health stats up. Stats decay over time, so check in regularly.
How do I earn coins?
You earn coins by caring for your pet. Each action that meaningfully improves a stat will reward you with a coin.
How do I change my pet or background?
Tap the shop icon to browse available animals, outfits, and backgrounds. Some items require coins to unlock.
How does the Home Screen widget work?
Long-press your Home Screen, tap the "+" button, search for PocketPal - Pixel Widget, and add the widget. You can feed, play, and shower your pet directly from the widget.
My widget is showing gray boxes instead of my pet.
Try removing the widget, force-closing PocketPal - Pixel Widget, reopening the app, and then re-adding the widget. If the issue persists, try restarting your device.
Will I lose my progress if I delete the app?
Yes. Pet data is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app will remove all progress, coins, and unlocked items.

PocketPal - Pixel Widget is free to download with no ads or subscriptions. All items can be earned through gameplay.
